Other Information
Alocasias go through a dormant period each year, during which the oldest leaves may become senescent and fall off. We recommend that you wipe off any dust that may accumulate with a damp cloth so that the leaves can be more efficient at photosynthesizing. Use a clean, damp sponge or cloth to gently wipe the leaves. It is normal for the lower leaves to turn yellow and fall off. The plant transfers nutrients from these leaves to the new leaves that are forming.
