Ideal Temperature
Ideal Temperature
The plant cannot withstand cold or frost, so in winter it must be protected from these extreme weather conditions – the plant dies when the temperature drops below 10ºC.
Watering
Watering
It should be watered more frequently during the summer. Two to three times a week will be enough. In winter and autumn, the water supply should be reduced (once a week).
Light
Light
Dipladenias must be located in an area where they can receive plenty of light, but without it falling directly on the plant. Excessive sunlight can cause burns on the surface of the mandevillas.
Soil
Soil
Dipladenia is not picky about the soil in which it is planted, however, it prefers soil composed of peat and sand. And if it is also rich in organic matter, even better, as it will grow optimally and develop much more beautiful flowers.

Other Information
When growing this plant, you should bear in mind that it is a climbing plant from a tropical climate, so all its care and planting will depend on this. But don't worry, its maintenance is very simple, it requires little water and it can withstand dry climates well, although the soil must be moist and drained so that the roots can gain depth.
