Sansevierias, originating from Africa and South Asia, are characterized by not having a trunk, with more than 70 species of this genus being known, of which the most sought after are the varieties of Sansevieria trifasciata.
Considered slow-growing plants and adaptable to reduced light conditions, they have thick leaves with the capacity to store water, thus withstanding long periods of drought.
Furthermore, they are excellent air purifiers, with the property of releasing oxygen during the night and are also highly appreciated in Feng Shui for their protective capacity.

Watering
Watering
Sansevieria needs moderate watering, we can only water it when the substrate has dried. Sansevieria also does not require high humidity, so it is not necessary to spray its leaves.
Light
Light
It prefers plenty of indirect light, but tolerates environments with reduced lighting.
Soil
Soil
They require light, airy and well-drained substrates. Substrates for cacti and succulents are also suitable for Sansevierias, as they provide ideal aeration and drainage. When it comes to repotting, Sansevierias generally grow slowly, so their need for repotting is minimal. A pot with a good drainage system and a quality substrate are key to the health and longevity of your Sansevieria.

Other Information
Excess water is their main enemy. If you have any doubts, it is best to wait a few more days or weeks before watering again. They can withstand long periods without watering.
