Ideal Temperature
Ideal Temperature
Zamioculca is a plant adapted to tropical climates with temperatures ranging from around 25 degrees to higher temperatures, but never below 18 degrees.
So, the lower the temperature, the more damage it can cause to the plant.
Watering
Watering
Zamiocula is perfect for those who are forgetful or “don’t have time to water”, as it doesn’t like water very much and requires sporadic watering, twice a week, in addition to not needing pruning, as it grows slowly. Two to three times a week, depending on the time of year. In summer, water three times a week. And in winter, twice a week.
Light
Light
These plants like semi-shady, well-ventilated areas, but they cannot tolerate direct sunlight. The plant can adapt to different lighting conditions. Its leaves turn dark green when it is kept in a relatively dark place for a longer period of time.
Soil
Soil
The soil must be rich in organic matter, well drained, but with the capacity to retain some moisture for the plant.
